Originally from Cleveland , Ohio , I entered the Air Force, after being drafted, in May 1966. Retired in 1988 after 22 years.

I had the opportunity to visit and/or spend time in; Germany , England , Greece , Thailand , Turkey , Guam , Alaska , and Egypt . Also had the pleasure of establishing residence in Florida , California , New York , South Carolina and Virginia , where I currently reside. Raising a family in the Air Force, although sometimes very stressful, has proven to be a blessing as two of my three children have established lives of their own, close to the military. My 29 yr. old son, however, says "yuck" to the military, I guess because he didn't experience the moving around as my daughters did.

Obviously, after 22 years of service and extensive travel, I didn't get enough, so I became one of those famous "Double Dippers" and worked for the Air Force as a civil servant for another 20 years, which also required a lot of travel, so I have broadened my visitations to just about every state in the union, including overseas areas in Portugal and Panama, so now I have completely retired and spending more time with my hobby.
